Put Your Love Glasses On

So today I was on my way to work and this song came on called, "Life" by Bekah Shae. The song is very encouraging. It talks about ignoring the negative and finding the positive. Put your love glasses on! Life is what you preceive it to be. If all you are is negative and all you concentrate on are the things that aren't working in your life, then your life is going to be negative and it will impact your attitude, your emotions, and your outlook on life. If your put your love glasses on and instead concentrate on all the things that is good in your life, and begin to think positively about yourself and the life around you then you will have a better outlook on life.

Did you know that you are DESTINED to have a rich life? I am holding on to that. Even if I don't have any earthly riches, that's OK because I am rich in love, in family and friends. And one day when I get to Heaven, I will have a Mansion and it will better than I ever imagined. The chorus says, I’m going to live the rich life, The full and blessed life, So if you all know what I mean

I WILL NOT let anyone or anything deter me from having a full and rich life. I will not let all of the negative things and the things that go wrong in my life keep me from doing what I need and should be doing in this life. Don't doubt yourself that you have within you to achieve all that you could ever dare to imagine, ask or think.

I'm going to live a good life. I'm determined to live a rich and full life and no one will stop me. My challenge to you is to quit thinking that you can't, that the situations surrounding you are too great for you to see the positive. You CAN see the positive and the good this life has to offer, that you have to offer, if you will just put your love glasses on! So go ahead, put em' on. I dare you!

I have been going to college (while working full time) since 2007, studying American Sign Language (ASL) in hopes of one day to become an interpreter. Everyday is a New Day

I think some people think it may be too late for them to make a change that will make their lives better. Or, they are afraid of what that change will make them realize about themselves. Change doesn't always have to be a bad thing; it can actually be quite refreshing. It doesn't matter what things you may have done in the past. You may have regrets, but those regrets do not have to dictate your future. I know that it is easier said than done, but it isn't impossible. Every day is a new day to start over. It is a chance for you to wake up and say, "Hey, I will do______ this today." Or, "Hey, I am making a decision right here, right now not to do___________." Do you realize that you do have a choice to decide that you can have a great life? Do you realize that the more you let your past regrets control you the less you will be happy? Project 33: 33 Random Acts of Kindness for my 33rd Birthday

After listening to the radio and what the DJ was going to do for her birthday, it inspired and motivated me to do the same for my upcoming birthday. I began to search Pinterest and Google for ideas. I started to make a list of all the things I wanted to do. I tried to be unique and do different things every day. However, towards the end, I struggled a bit trying to be unique. So I did things that I felt impressed to do in the moment like, give a couple of people gift cards to the grocery store. The last month has been totally wonderful. I found myself constantly thinking about being kind to people and presenting myself in a much more deliberate manner. I also mixed it up and gave gifts to people I knew as well as the people I had never met before. I also adopted a U.S. soldier.
